Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Verdict collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Verdict iOS app, iMessage extension, and related backend services.

Information We Collect

When you sign in, we may collect account information provided by Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, such as an account identifier, email address, display name, and provider metadata needed to authenticate your session.

When you use Verdict, we may process the names or nicknames you enter, relationship context, dispute topic, written statements, selected judge persona, language preference, purchase status, collaborative case metadata, invite tokens, and app usage events needed to provide the service.

If you choose to attach screenshots or pasted evidence, those items are used to create temporary evidence summaries for the current verdict request. Evidence images and original evidence text are not stored in history or share cards.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate accounts, generate AI-assisted verdict summaries, support collaborative cases, maintain purchase access, prevent abuse, improve reliability, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations.

Google User Data

Verdict uses Google Sign-In for authentication. Google user data is used to verify identity, create or access your Verdict account, and maintain your signed-in session. Verdict does not sell Google user data.

Service Providers

Verdict backend services may run on Cloudflare Workers and may use cloud database providers such as Neon or Supabase for application data. AI processing may be routed through Cloudflare Workers AI or similar model infrastructure configured for the app. Payment status is handled through Apple StoreKit and App Store server notifications.

Storage and Retention

Account, purchase, collaborative case, and history data may be retained while your account is active or as needed to provide app functionality, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request account deletion through the app where supported or through the support channel listed for the app.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help operate Verdict, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Children

Verdict is not intended for children under 13 or for anyone below the minimum age required by local law. Do not use Verdict if you are not old enough to consent to this policy.
